JBI Suspension WP AER48 / XACT48 Pro Fork do it yourself install kit
WP AER48 Fork (KTM, Husqvarna, & GasGas motocross & off-road models)
Also known / rebranded as the WP XACT AER48
Bike fitment guide at bottom of page

The JBI Suspension WP AER48 / XACT48 Pro Fork do it yourself install kit includes the JBI Suspension AER48 subvalve and JBI Suspension AER48 midvalve piston assembly complete with JBI Suspension valving custom built to each rider/build.  You tell Ride JBI your riding needs and Ride JBI custom builds you a JBI Suspension WP AER48 Pro Fork install kit.  JBI Suspension technology now in your hands. Only this configuration of fork hardware upgrades can ensure to get the most performance out of your WP AER48 fork for Motocross, Enduro, Off-Road, Arenacross, FMX, and Free Riding.

Incorporating the JBI Suspension WP AER48 Pro Fork hardware allows for running less air pressure in the fork without the fork being overly soft.  The improved damping efficiency of the fork along with lower air pressure results in a big improvement in fork comfort, feel, and sensitivity over small/medium size bumps.  This feeling is commonly referred to as "plushness"

If you are using a spring conversion to replace the oem air cartridge, Ride JBI will provide a recommended spring rate with the JBI Suspension WP AER48 install kit.  Ride JBI does recommend the K Tech spring conversion kit for those looking to convert the spring component of their WP AER48 forks from air forks to a coil spring fork.

What is a "subvalve" or also know as "low speed valve?"
A subvalve more effectively meters the oil flow thru the bypass circuit of a compression valve assembly.  Most often the oil flowing thru the bypass circuit is only controlled/adjusted by changing the setting of the compression clicker.  While the compression clicker functions well in altering the total volume of oil that can flow thru the bypass circuit, there is still room for improving how to control/manage the oil flow (pressure) thru the bypass circuit.  A subvalve adds the ability to control the flow of oil thru the bypass circuit with suspension shims AND the clicker adjuster.  With the addition of shims, the oil is no longer able to freely flow thru the bypass circuit without light initial resistance.  This light initial resistance is key as it allows for more effective control of the fork compression damping system thru the entire suspension travel at all speeds/pressures.  That is why it is possible to run less air pressure in the WP AER48 fork without it being overly soft.   Subvalves (aka low speed valves) are common in high end A-Kit forks and all production KYB SSS forks.
