The next generation of the JBI Pro Perch has arrived. Since the debut of the JBI Pro Perch back in 2013 the Pro Perch has received positive feedback from many riders, tuners, and magazines. Ride JBI always stayed busy learning, designing and developing the next generation of JBI Pro Perch. Building upon 10 years of experience Ride JBI is proud to share the new generation JBI Pro Perch now called the JBI Titanium Pro Perch.

Improves the bottoming resistance of the fork thus making the fork harder to bottom out

Provides additional compression resistance (aka bottoming) the last few inches of fork travel
Allows fork to remain feeling plush, smooth, and comfortable at the top initial starting point of fork travel

What does the WP spring tube do?

WP spring tube serves two functions for the WP XACT Pro Damping Cartridge System
Primary function is holding the fork spring and allowing for spring preload adjustment
Secondary function is providing additional compression resistance once the WP spring tube engages the oil in the fork outer chamber.
This additional compression resistance is referred to as bottoming control

What is the JBI Titanium Pro Perch?

The JBI Titanium Pro Perch is a flexible pressure sensitive valve that contributes additional compression damping resistance more efficiently than the WP Spring Tube. In other words the JBI Ti Pro Perch WP setup is harder to bottom out and also has a better feeling when bottoming out compared to the WP Spring Tube.

Why is it important that the JBI Titanium Pro Perch can flex open instead of being a fixed hole?

Enabling the JBI Ti Pro Perch to "flex open" when a certain amount of pressure/force is applied is what creates the "pressure sensitive" damping attributes. In this case pressure sensitive is also referred to as "speed sensitive" because the faster the fork compresses the higher the pressure/force will be applied to the JBI Titanium Pro Perch. Pressure/Speed sensitive damping is advantageous because a fork compresses at many different speeds while riding thus allowing the JBI Ti Pro Perch to always provide just the right amount of additional compression resistance. Enabling the JBI Titanium Pro Perch to "flex open" during high pressure prevents the Pro Perch from being too stiff / harsh on the rider but still provide enough resistance to prevent hard bottom outs. The too stiff / harsh feel is common with Supercross spring perches which feature small restrictive fixed holes.

What's new about the JBI Titanium Pro Perch?

The JBI Titanium Pro Perch is a "complaint mechanism" which now incorporates the flexible bending shims / reed petals as part of the Pro Perch body. This evolution in design reduced the number of parts and complexity from the previously JBI Pro Perch Gen 1 and Gen 2 versions which required mounting the shims and shim retainers to Pro Perch body

Will the JBI Titanium Pro Perch wear out?

During the 4 years of designing, development, and testing not one single failure happened and is unlikely to happen unless the item is modified or used outside of the above described riding. The JBI Titanium Pro Perch is ready for the hardest of Off-Road, Motocross, Supercross, Arenacross, and FMX riding. Ride JBI uses a high strength and elastic (aka flexible) titanium alloy for the JBI Pro Perch body which incorporates the flexible shims / reed petals. The JBI Titanium Pro Perch was engineered to continuously preform without fatigue in stress conditions that are well beyond the highest stress induced by Supercross / FMX riding.
