Ride JBI's Review of the KYB 46mm Conventional Fork
The KYB 46mm conventional fork features a good design matched with good hardware for a low cost production fork.  The stock fork setup however leaves a lot to be desired in terms of performance (feel).  This fork responds well to valving mods and goes from being an average performing fork to a very competitive fork in its field of desert and dual sport.  Two reasons the twin chamber fork replaced the open cartridge was to achieve better low speed damping and longer consistent feel.
