How To Install the MXT LFPR

  1. Start with a KYB, Showa, or WP 50mm shock piston

  2. Press a razor blade into the edge of the piston band

  3. Cut all the way through the band (depth and height)

  4. Carely insert a small flat head screw driver to split the band and peel off the piston

  5. Remove the stock piston o-rings

  6. Lightly grease the new supplied o-rings and fit onto piston
    Gently pull apart the MX Low Friction Piston Ring to slide onto shock piston

  7. Slide the MXT LFPR until it lightly snaps into the piston band recess
