How To Install the MXT LFPR
- Start with a KYB, Showa, or WP 50mm shock piston
- Press a razor blade into the edge of the piston band
- Cut all the way through the band (depth and height)
- Carely insert a small flat head screw driver to split the band and peel off the piston
- Remove the stock piston o-rings
- Lightly grease the new supplied o-rings and fit onto piston
Gently pull apart the MX Low Friction Piston Ring to slide onto shock piston
- Slide the MXT LFPR until it lightly snaps into the piston band recess
